Gladwin County's Best Kept Secret!!

All Sports Smallwood Lake is approximately 600 acres and offers boatable water all the way up to Secord Dam. It is 28 ft at its deepest point. This popular lake is formed via the Tittabawassee River system and is long and narrow. It takes in the townships of Hay, Buckeye and Secord Townships within Gladwin County. This lake offers a nice bottom for sandy swimming as well as great fishing. Catfish, northern pike and bass are abundant in this lake. Lakeshore Marina is located right on the water just north of the bridge on M61 and is a great place to stop for gas, water toys or any marine work you might need done.

Located on M 61 near M 30 this lake is located 16 miles from I-75 for easy access. The Smallwood Lake area, also known as the Wooden Shoe area or "The Shoe", has many nearby conveniences including The Woodland Diner, Whitetails Live, Lakeshore Marina, White Star Motel, large gas station/convenience store and party store.  It is also a quick 6 miles drive into Gladwin for more shopping, restaurants, antique stores, grocery store and much more.
