A Message from Midge:After around 5 inches of snow, Just about 22,000 acres of the lake are frozen except for this spot. Don't forget to mark your calendars for Tip up Town, Houghton Lake's Winter Carnival which is January 20-23rd and 27th and 29th. Bring your sled, your fishing pole and dress warm!
