This Houghton Lake owner FINALLY chose the RIGHT broker

With an improving market, many sellers are under the impression that it doesn't matter who they choose as a broker.  That couldn't be farther from the truth.  While conditions have improved, it takes an exceptional broker to not only sell a property, but sell it for a premium price and at terms that work for the seller.

This is a terrific example.  On the market for a year with another prominent firm, this home went unsold.  Associate Broker, Midge Rutter, took the listing this spring and was able to find a buyer for the second highest sale on Houghton Lake in years.  They're closing the transaction this afternoon.

A well conceived description that calls out the most significant features of the property and high quality images are what's needed to make someone go from seeing a property online to making the trip north to purchase.  Managing difficult appraisal issues and possible title concerns and helping the purchaser and seller reach a successful conclusion where both feel they met their goals is not easy.  It takes someone with experience, dedication and who personally cares about their clients.
