Check out Michigan's sunrise side for amazing waterfront prices!

While thousands of vacationers and cottage owners flock to the Traverse City area or areas closer to downstate like Clare, Gladwin, Grayling and Houghton or Higgins Lake, the sunrise side of the state is often overlooked.  Alcona, Alpena, and Presque Isle and  Counties are home to some of the most spectacular natural landscapes in northern Michigan.  This area is dominated by spectacular rolling hardwood forests, much of which is part of National or State forests, miles of pristine trout streams and some of the most beautiful lakes in the state.  Among these are Grand Lake and Long Lake which are each more than 5,500 acres in size and Hubbard Lake a bit more to the south.  Click HERE for a list of currently available properties on these lakes and find out for yourself how much more you can buy for your money when compared to other areas of northern Michigan.  The Lake Huron shoreline too is home to some spectacular properties that can be had for a fraction of the prices of similar property on the Lake Michigan side.  Click HERE for the currently available Lake Huron properties.  It's a lot more quiet and a little longer drive but this side of the state may end up being the perfect area for you to find your own Home Waters.  Contact Sales Associate, Steve Shaw, (steve@homewaters.net, (989) 884-1294) who was born and raised in this gorgeous corner of the state.  He'll be your guide!
