As mentioned previously in this forum, Homewaters, L.L.C. is now the exclusive real estate partner for Garland Lodge and Resort in Lewiston. This past weekend the resort opened for the season and we had the opportunity to attend a member reception that highlighted some of the improvements made over the winter. A new wine bar, full service spa, new Director of Golf and new culinary team all reflect the management teams dedication to bringing Garland Lodge and Resort back to prominence after an ownership change in 2009. Based on the member comments that followed the weekend, and our experience, it's hard to tell there was ever a time when visitors wouldn't have been completely impressed with their stay at Garland Lodge and Resort.

"All the employees were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. When I had an issue at lunch with the lack of unsweetened iced tea, Allison took it upon herself to brew me a cup from scratch. I like that kind of creativity." "Hospitality is back at Garland! We attended member spring scramble and sampled our way through the appetizer stations and met new friends. ...looking forward to golfing this summer!"
"Just played on the Spring Scramble today. My team didn't win a thing...BUT...I have got to tell all of you this...afterwards there were stations with food and wine/beer/mimosa tastings and I have to tell you...WOW. The appetizers were not only delicious, but the presentation was impressive. Very classy. Made me feel proud to be a member at Garland. I am definitely starting out this golf season on a very positive note!"
These sentiments were not hard to come buy as we meandered through the resort and along the golf course visiting with members and guests on a gorgeous Saturday.
