Looking for some input on this one blog followers. Throughout the past two years we've been seeing a tremendous increase in the number of buyers who will be retiring to Northern Michigan in the next 3-7 years and it's been interesting to see what their interests are. Rather than wanting a 5,000 square foot bay home, they've been interested in finding something between 1,500 and 2,000 square feet that is well finished and provides good access to amenities. Is this just a coincidence among the buyers we're currently working with or does this reflect the general mood? Which type of home are you looking for in Northern Michigan? If you could describe the perfect property for you in Northern Michigan, what would it be and how much would it cost (realistically)? We're working with some developers who are looking to design a community and homes well suited to today's buyers. Your input could make a difference in what types of homes will be available to future buyers. Thanks for participating and let's get some good honest comments!!!
