Traverse City has been named a dining destination by many and Restaurant Week offers the opportunity to sample some of the best our town has to offer. February 25th through March 3rd participating restaurants will offer three-course meals for $25 or $35 per person, depending on the eatery. Almost all the major restaurants are participating, including well-known go-to places like Amical, Trattoria Stella, Red Ginger, Poppycock's, and Georgina's. Some of our personal favorites are a bit lesser known: Patisserie Amie, Sorellina, Calypso, Raduno, Tuscan Bistro, and a hidden gem - Reflect Bistro. It's so hard to pick just a couple to try, but at this price why not try a different one each night of the week?
While you enjoy a lovely sampling of delicious foods, we also encourage trying some of our local wines. While we are known as a foodie destination, we are even better known for our ever-growing wine industry. We have a great selection and are proud to boast about it. The Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula are eager to share the fruits of their labor. February 17 is their annual Romancing the Riesling event, celebrating the ubiquitous varietal by pairing it up with small bites from area restaurant partners.
